Rainbugs are first encountered on 17F in Etrian Odyssey II: Heroes of Lagaard.

They are a stronger species of Ladybug, but their modus operandi is pretty much the same. They will be constantly casting Blink on itself and its allies to increase their agility while attacking, and if left for last, will summon a dangerous Wrathbud to the fray.

These are weak enemies with low hp and defenses, and are not much of a threat. However, if they are the last monster standing they have a chance of summoning a Wrath Bloom, a dangerous 19F enemy.
