The Rafflesia is a recurring enemy in the Etrian Odyssey series.
Raflesia (Etrian Odyssey II)[]
Raflesias are first encountered on 5F in Etrian Odyssey II: Heroes of Lagaard. They can appear in ambushes when harvesting from gather points as well. To make matters worse, Ladybugs are able to summon Raflesias to help them, building a deadly combo against new adventurers.
The Raflesia itself does significant damage with its normal attacks, but the real threat is Freeze, which deals ice elemental damage to an entire party. Its also able to Poison party members with its Pollen ability.

Rafflesias are encountered on B1F of the Forgotten Capital. They will use a sticky thread that will immobilize the player and draw the attention of the Rafflesia.

Rafflesia (Etrian Odyssey 2 Untold)[]
Rafflesias are first encountered on the fifth floor of the labyrinth in Etrian Odyssey 2 Untold: The Fafnir Knight.
This dangerous enemy can be fought on the B05F of Ancient Forest, or earlier when summoned by a Giant Ladybug. It can also ambush your party on gathering spots. Great caution must be used when fighting one.
It can attack the entire party with Freezing Snare, which deals heavy ice damage to them, or inflict poison to a character line with Poison Pollen. Fire and Slash attacks are an effective way to deal with it, as well as binding its head, which will block all of Rafflesia's attacks.
When defeated, this enemy will drop the Giant Bud ingredient.

The Rafflesia is a 3x3-tiles DOE that can be encountered in Crystalline Peak, Torrential Ravine and Equinox Garden.
This monster is an Plant type monster. Its Ice Resistance is a Resistance +.
