Mimic Aye-Ayes are yellow and black versions of the Forest Aye-Aye.
Mimic Aye-Aye (Etrian Odyssey V)[]
Mimic Aye-Ayes are creatures found in 29F of the Empyreal Bridge onward.
Like their brethren in the Tutelary Forest, they are fond of using Mimic to copy the next enemy skill used that turn. Even if that enemy's skill has failed due to a bound body part, the Mimic Aye-Aye will still replicate that skill. However, when they are the last enemy standing, they will use Lemur Leap to escape battle at the start of the turn, denying the player experience and potential materials. Either kill them quickly or bind their legs to prevent their escape.

Although the monkey no longer is capable of retreating when it's alone in battle, its stats and resistances are significantly increased. Copycat coming off something dangerous like the Moth Lord's Slice and Dice or Red Lion's Biting Flurry can easily level the party.
