As Etrian Odyssey is a dungeon crawling RPG, in which you create your own party to journey into the labyrinth with, there are a multitude of classes for the player to pick from. In the other games, there are different class types, such as Prince and Shogun.
The first Etrian Odyssey gives the player a total of nine classes to choose from. They are as follows:
