Like previous entries in the series, Etrian Odyssey Untold has its own set of classes to choose from in the game.
There are a total of 11 classes to customize your party with; 9 of these are the same as the original Etrian Odyssey while 2 of them are new and available only in the Story Mode.
Classes[]
- Landsknecht
- Protector
- Alchemist
- Medic
- Survivalist
- Troubadour
- Hexer
- Ronin
- Dark Hunter
- Highlander (the Player; Available in Story Mode)
- Gunner (Frederica Irving; Available in Story Mode)
Trivia[]
- The Highlander class and Gunner class can only be unlocked in the Story Mode. However, once you beat the game (any mode), you are allowed to transfer your data to a new file of either mode of your choice; money, shop items, Monstrous Codex information, and such. It also allows you to transfer characters you have to your next Mode that you play.
- It is mostly recommended that you finish Story Mode first if you want to use the Highlander or Frederica in Classic Mode. As you are able to transfer Story Mode characters to Classic Mode, you would be allowed to use Simon, Raquna, and Arthur in Classic Mode as well. You can start with Classic Mode - however, Story Mode would allow you to only use those five characters and not your Classic Mode characters. They won't be lost, but you won't be able to use them until you go back to Classic Mode.
