Carmine Beak (Etrian Odyssey Untold)Edit
|This legendary bird can achieve uncanny flight speeds. Always be on your guard against its attacks.|
The Carmine Beak is a FOE in Etrian Odyssey Untold that appears in AREA I of Gladsheim. They are similar to the Raging Camels in that they are stationary and asleep while the lights are off. By default they are stationary and will only move when the player approaches near them, in which they will pursue the player until they leave the room. The exception to this is if they are approached from the rear.
While Carmine Beaks aren't too difficult for the area they're in, it's still advised to avoid them to the best of your ability, as they can do a decent amount of damage. They can also blind party members with Darkness, although the success rate is rather low.
- Darkness (Uses Head): Deals physical damage to a party member, may blind
- Redbird Plume (Worth 135 en)
Crimson Gale (Etrian Odyssey Nexus)Edit
In battle, it opens up with Scarlet Glare, lowering any party's Max HP, regularly attacking to stall out the three turn debuff before reapplying the debuff again. A Sovereign with Rally Order can easily counter this debuff.
Once it's HP drops to around 25%, it adds Crimson Gale to its list of attacks, which can be deadly if you're unable to restore HP to any weakened party members.
- Crimson Gale (Uses Arms): Line piercing attack.
- Scarlet Glare (Uses Head): Decreases Max HP of all party members for 3 turns.
- Redbird Plume (Worth 920 en)
- This item is needed to make the Scarlet Lance (+52 ATK, +38 MAT, Gauge Fill: ↑), and Kazak (+18 DEF, +22 MDF, +15 TP).
