Black Claw (ブラックネイル, also known as Ebonail) is a large monkey-like monster with razor sharp claws and a long tail. They are found in Etrian Odyssey II and Etrian Odyssey IV.

Black Claw can be found in the Misty Ravine at night. While it doesn't show up often, its high attack, tendency to poison and general toughness make it an annoying opponent. Luckily, it has a weakness to fire, and if you bind it's arms, it goes down easily.

The Black Claw is an enemy first found on 28F of the Forbidden Wood. Like the Dinotyrant, it is weak to all forms of damage, but makes up for it by cursing the party with Curse Dance that randomly hits everyone, friend or foe. Bind its arms to block this attack.
