Arcania is a vast land, as well as the only continent on the planet. Four races, the Earthlain, Celestrians, Therians, and Brouni, have developed here. Its most notable landmark is the great Yggdrasil Tree and its Labrynth, legendary to all of the four races.

- This may indicate that Etrian Odyssey V does not take place on Earth at all. In fact, some players theorize that Arcania actually takes place on planet Mars.
