Accessories (Etrian Odyssey III)

Accessories are items equipped in the armor slots that provide no defense or attack power directly, but give a variety of stat and resistance boosts. In Etrian Odyssey III, the armor slots can be filled with any number or combination of accessories, and they can all be equipped by any class. Only a couple of accessories are available at the beginning for purchase from Napier's Firm, but more can be unlocked as you sell monster drops.

Accessory Effects

Accessories all provide some form of bonus effect, depending on the icons they depict.

• increases hit rate by 3% apiece.
• increases crit rate of normal attacks by 3% apiece. This bonus caps out at 24% (8 forges' worth) across all equipment.
• increases the character's Turn Speed, equivalent to 2 AGI points' worth apiece. Evasion and accuracy are not affected.
• gives a +1 bonus to the corresponding stat apiece.
• gives +5% HP or TP apiece. These bonuses accumulate additively between different pieces of equipment.
• increase resistance to the corresponding damage type by 10% apiece and they stack additively.
• Bind/Ailment icons increase resistance to the corresponding bind/ailment by 10% apiece and they stack additively.
